Takeaway: Lightweight, comfortable, and durable apron. Premium and stylish look and feel w/plenty of pockets.
The apron comes in a reusable non-woven canvas bag. The apron is made of a medium-weight denim with a dark wash and pin stripe pattern. The stitching is clean, neat, and straight, using dark blue cotton thread along the hems and stitches. It has a black leather neckstrap and waist belt. The buttons and fixtures on the apron are brass. At the chest there are two, short pockets, and there are three larger kangaroo pockets at the waist for your kitchen tools. The waist belt cinches on the right hand side. The back of the garment is smooth and finished with no flaws or rough seams.
When donning the apron, I found that threading the cinch on the right hand side pretty easy (I'm right handed) but if you have a narrow waist, you'll be left with a lot of slack from the end of the leather strap like a tail, so I like to tuck that into the front on the other side. The neck strap is fairly easy to adjust while wearing the apron. Overall, I think it is a good height given the position of the pockets at the chest. The deep pockets in the front are convenient for stowing oven mitts and tools like a spatula, dish cloth or wooden spoon. The apron is a decent length, lightweight and durable, and comfortable to wear. In the summer the leather neckstrap does get a bit sweaty. The leather is not removable when you need to wash the garment, so I suggest handwashing to avoid damaging the leather and hang drying the apron. The apron's thick fabric helps prevent spatters and liquids from seeping through and ruing your clothes while you cook. It works well overall and looks rather stylish.
